The City of Cape Town announced that the 2022 General Valuation Roll would be available for inspection on 21 February, 2023.

The City of Cape Town has updated all property values as of 1 July, 2022, for all properties situated within its municipal limits. You are urged to become familiar with the new valuation because it will serve as the foundation for your rates assessments for the next four years. As most of the revised valuations were completed using a computer-aided mass appraisal system, errors and irregularities may occur.
